eBay announced that they will be trying something new when it comes to bidding on items. If someone comes in one the last two minutes, they will add another two minutes to the clock. If someone bids at one minute, they will add another one minute to the clock, and on down. The hope is that everyone will get a chance at the items, and no more sniping. This has the hobby spirit in half. Some love this, others say that it is ruining their lives. So… what’s your thought on this?
I like this from a sellers perspective, but hate this from a buyers perspective. What I think eBay should make it optional whenever the seller puts an item at auction. So, if the seller doesn’t want to deal with expanded bids, then they don’t have to deal with it. Then, if the seller doesn’t pick to allow expanded bids, it will show that it has expanded bids, so if I buyer doesn’t like this, they don’t have to bid. I am curious as to see what eBay does with this.
