Hello Mantel Family! I think we can all agree that the @MantelHQ team has done a smashing job at building a space where collectors feel welcomed, nurtured, and understood. Woot woot!!! Let's celebrate by gathering around to send them some virtual high-fives in the comments about stuff we like as well as weigh in on which act(s) of service we'd like to see more of.

Mantelpiece 2.0 is now live!
We've added a Mantelpiece-only feed to the left sidebar, so you can easily check to see what collectibles others in the community own or like. We've added a Filter tool, so you can sort through to find specific cards members of the community have (the filter feature will only get better).
You can now upload items directly from your phone, perfect for collectibles that aren't in the Card Hedge database (like comic books and other non-card collectibles, or cards from your personal collection).
You can add captions to your Mantelpiece items to explain why the item is in your collection/special to you. And other members can comment, upvote and add emojis.
And we've expanded the Mantelpiece to 15 items (from Mickey's #7). We'd love to know how many items you'd want to be able to add if we had endless space, so please comment below.
We are continuing to improve the Mantelpiece (and all other features) daily, but as usual, your feedback is vital to us building a product you'll want to use every day (and tell your friends about). So please comment below or email support@onMantel.com if you have ideas or issues.

Our commitment to this community is that we'll listen to any and all feedback, and ship new features, improvements and fixes on a consistent basis. Today we released a new update that includes a few big improvements that our Day Ones have been asking for, including:
1. The ability to flag posts/comments to Support and block users from your timeline to ensure the safety of all community members
2. Changes to how Reactions and Replies appear on the feed, to make it easier to see how the community is engaging with posts (called out in the bottom left of the photo)
3. A Reply counter that factors in all replies in the thread
4. Link previews in Comments
5. The ability to draft/save a post to upload at a later date

And the most requested update so far: the ability to edit posts!

Our roadmap is packed with ideas from this group and many, many more updates are on the way. Please keep sending over feedback, so we can build the best community platform for collectors in the world.

We just deployed an update to provide email notifications for replies to posts. Soon we'll have in-product notifications and a better email notification process, but we wanted to get something launched ASAP so community members would know when there was engagement with their posts.
