Karl Malone is one of the most dominant power forwards the NBA has ever seen, known by the iconic nickname “The Mailman.” The name came from a simple idea: the Mailman always delivers night after night, especially on Sundays.

Malone’s game was built on reliability, physicality, and relentless production, making him a nightmare for defenses for nearly two decades.

Spending the bulk of his career with the Utah Jazz, Malone formed one of the greatest duos in league history alongside John Stockton.

His résumé is stacked: 2× NBA MVP (1997, 1999), 14× All-Star, 11× All-NBA First Team, and 7× All-Defensive Team selections. He also won two Olympic gold medals with Team USA (1992, 1996).

Statistically, Malone’s longevity and consistency were unreal. He retired with 36,928 career points, ranking second all-time at the time and still sitting among the top scorers in NBA history today.

The only thing missing? An NBA championship despite back-to-back Finals appearances in 1997 and 1998.

Rings or not for 19 seasons, he delivered.

I’ve been collecting Karl Malone since the mid 90’.

I gave up when Panini hit the scene.

I’ve sold a lot of my collection over the years but some cards I can’t sell, this one as it was given to me by a friend.

I understand that some of these cards are now mainly cheap cardboard but they hold so much sentimental value.
