Nonsense Sportscards, Vol 9 - Big Red Mistake

Post image 1

Having just returned to Cincinnati following a 10-game road trip in the summer of 1980, Ron Oester was down to his last pair of clean boxer shorts, which happened to be a gag gift he received the previous Christmas. He thought his uniform pants were thick enough to conceal the reindeer print pattern, but everywhere he went that day he couldn’t help but feel like people were laughing at him…

Nonsense Sportscards, Vol 5 - Dolly Joyner

Post image 1

The 1992 Royals, excited to nab Wally Joyner, cloned the young star in a harebrained attempt to double his WAR. The experiment failed by the second week of Spring Training and the carbon copy was sent to retire at a stickball field in upstate Missouri.
