Spanish street/urban artist Pejac - “New Wave”

Post image 1
Post image 2

One of the last Pejac pieces I'll post in this series of art on card (then I'll go back to posting sports cards and memorabilia). In "New Wave," Spanish street artist Pejac presents a dreamlike scene where the laws of physics are replaced by poetic elements. The artwork depicts two surfers riding a wave that seamlessly transforms into a mountain ridge, symbolizing the exploration of new paths and alternative routes. Pejac explains, "I like to think there's always the possibility of opening up a new route, a new path."

Pejac - “So Far, So Close” Spanish urban street artist

Pejac’s So Far, So Close is a thought-provoking works that explore themes of distance, perspective, and connection. Known for his poetic and socially conscious street art, Pejac uses this collection to challenge viewers’ perceptions of physical and emotional proximity. His works often feature delicate, intricate silhouettes, clever visual illusions, and interactions with the surrounding environment that add layers of meaning.
This series continues Pejac’s signature approach of blending minimalism with deep symbolism. Whether depicting figures reaching across vast spaces or playing with light and shadow to suggest unexpected connections.
We are all connected and we have more in common than we do differences. Sometimes, in life, we are too close to understand that connection

Spanish urban artist Pejac “H2O” - Art on card

Pejac’s piece H2O is a striking and thought-provoking artwork that explores themes of environmental awareness, water scarcity, and the human impact on nature and exploration. Known for his poetic and socially conscious street art, Pejac often employs visual illusions and minimalist compositions to convey deep messages.
In H2O, he creates an image that plays with perception, often depicting a scene where water—or the lack of it—becomes the central subject. One interpretation suggests that the piece highlights the fragility of our relationship with water, a resource we often take for granted but which is essential for life. The artwork also makes a comment on climate change, droughts, and the uneven distribution of water around the world.
Pejac frequently incorporates subtle yet powerful visual metaphors in his work, using negative space and delicate details to challenge the viewer’s perspective. H2O features cracked earth, disappearing water, or surreal elements and aligns with his recurring themes of environmental degradation and human responsibility.

Pejac is one of my favorite artists. Known for his environmental/sociopolitical art and use of simple, detailed surrealist images. His art often plays with perspective and negative space, creating powerful illusions and minimalist storytelling.
“Waterline” is one of Pejac’s standout pieces discussing the fragility of of nature and the environment with juxtaposition of the downtown effects of factories and consumption.
This work is a prime example of Pejac’s ability to merge street art with deep social and political messages using simple yet striking visuals.

Spanish modern artist Pejac lenticular print “Linea”

Post image 1

This one is tough to share via post without a video. This is a lenticular print (think sportflics or Flair Hot Numbers) that moves/changes as you change your viewing angle. It shows a forest being cut down as you move. The print shows the viewer the impact of deforestation and the thin/thick trees are actually a bar code which represents a SKU for a massive machine that chops down trees. Pejac is next-level, man.
