Something Serena and Venus were really into during all their Olympics runs was pin-collecting and there was no better place for this than in the Olympic Village. So we turned this into a new tradition for Olympia and a couple of her friends. The goal wasn’t just getting one from each country at the Games, but also a focus on the smaller countries (Serena even managed to get a rare pin from North Korean athletes!). Olympia was very excited to get a pin from Kenya (she had already decided that was her favorite African country) and when we met some of their athletes, they actually gave her a bracelet in addition to the pin. Some eagle-eyed fans spotted it on her.
