Before The Crow, before AEW, there was Surfer Sting with the neon facepaint and the energy of a thousand Monster Energy drinks. This 1991 Impel WCW card captures The Stinger in peak form.
While raw base cards from this set are worth about a dollar in the current market, authenticated autographed versions command significantly more. The 1991 Impel series was massively overproduced (you can still find sealed boxes for under $20), but a clean signature from one of wrestling’s all-time greats transforms this from junk wax to genuine treasure.
The yellow border screams early ‘90s, the pose screams “I’m about to hit someone with a Scorpion Death Drop,” and the signature screams “this card is staying in the collection forever.” That’s the difference between cardboard and a certified piece of wrestling history.
