Lacrosse Card & Postcard Connection

I've had this postcard for a while, but just recently picked up the trading card. The postcard shows the 1908 New Westminster Salmonbellies, the first ‘Bellies team to win a Minto Cup, and the last amateur team to do so prior to the Mann Cup coming to fruition.
Another neat thing about this card is the message written on the back. It appears to have been written by George Rennie, the player on the trading card. He won a gold medal as a member of the 1908 Canadian Olympic lacrosse team. He was also a charter member of the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame. He and his brother, Tom, are both pictured on the postcard. His message on the back reads as follows:
Sapperton, December 7, 1908
Dear Auntie,
Arrived home OK and found everybody well. This is a postcard of our team. Tom is on the end in the second row. Hoping that you are well.
Geo.
