Back in the day (1997) Marvel and DC would occasionally play nice and make comics together. This is one such example the Batman and Spider-Man comic was made by DC whereas the Spider-Man and Batman comic was made by Marvel. One showcases Spider-Man, helping out in a Batman story with the other, having Batman help out in a Spider-Man story. Very happy with this pick up today at my local comic store.
This was smack dab at the peak of my adolescence collecting comics. I had a few copies of this but never had one signed until this one. I love the two sigs on here and arguably the coolest Todd McFarlane cover ever.
This is one of my most coveted comics, not because it's worth a ton, but because it was THE comic that I lusted over for years as a kid. There was a copy hanging in my local comic shop (Al's Comics in Stockton, CA) forever, and I loved the art so much, but I could never seem to save enough to snag it. Eventually, someone did, but it that cover was stuck in my mind for decades. I finally had the means to purchase one on eBay a few years ago and found this Stan Lee signed copy.
