1960 Topps #148, Carl Yastrzemski RC ⭐ 1967 A.L. Triple Crown
One of the great mysteries of the hobby, IMO, is how undervalued this Carl Yastrzemski RC is.
The market value of this card is the same today as when I bought it many years ago.
If you're are looking to add a value HOF RC to your collection, this one is a bargain IMO.

1960 Topps #377, Roger Maris ⭐
Roger Maris could someday be elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame by the Eras Committee (formerly Veterans Committee), particularly due to his historic 1961 season and back-to-back MVP awards.
The case against Roger is his relatively short, 12-year career, modest career stats (275 HRs), and lower-than-average WAR.
I love his cards either way.

1960 Topps #73, Bob Gibson ⭐
Bob Gibson was widely regarded as both an all-time great baseball player and a man of strong character, though his character was expressed through intensity, principle, and personal integrity rather than outward warmth.
On the field, Gibson was one of the most dominant pitchers in MLB history. A two-time Cy Young Award winner, 1968 NL MVP, nine-time All-Star, and Hall of Famer, he epitomized competitiveness and excellence.
Off the field, Gibson was deeply respected for his honesty, discipline, and moral backbone. He was principled, intolerant of hypocrisy or disrespect, and unwavering in standing up for himself and others.

1960 Topps #28, Brooks Robinson ⭐
A pillar of sportsmanship & integrity was also arguably the best third baseman in MLB history.
In an era filled with larger-than-life personalities, Brooks Robinson stood out for something rarer: integrity, humility, and consistency of character, which is why he was universally admired long after his playing days ended.

On the field he was known as the "Human Vacuum" and there were no finer defensive third baseman to ever play the hot corner.
At bat, nobody was more clutch than Brooks.

• 1964 American League MVP – The only AL MVP of his career. He hit .317 with 28 HR and 118 RBI and was widely regarded as the best defensive third baseman in baseball.

• 1970 World Series MVP – Earned after a legendary defensive performance against the Reds, making multiple highlight-reel plays that defined the Series.

Brooks' résumé reflects both elite production and historically great defense.

1960 Topps #55, Bill Mazeroski ⭐ Legendary WS HR
After Bill Mazeroski hit one of the most iconic walkoff HRs in MLB history, one might think this card would instantly became worth its weight in gold, but that is not the case.
Although, around the Pittsburgh region the card was highly sought after, nationally folks were more interested in collecting the stars of the day, like Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, and Stan Musial.
Today, however, collectors have elevated the status of this card as Maz's career has been recontextualized -- his homer remains the only walk-off HR in World Series Game 7 history; he was elected to the Hall of Fame (2001); and the 1960 Topps design has become a more beloved (also polarizing) set.
