Zoom in. Take a long look at this painting. Do you see it? There is an image of Michael Jordan on the sweat on LeBron’s face. This was made using stencil and spray paint. This level of detail in that format is simply amazing. Made on commission by the incomparable young artist out of Seattle, Washington, Alexander Codd (acodd on IG).
Alexander Codd (ACodd on IG) stencil and spray paint original painting on canvas of one of my personal heroes, Dr. Paul Farmer. Dr. Farmer revolutionized the art of global health. I’ve dedicated much of my life and personal career to volunteering overseas. This painting is means a lot to me and resonates with me on many levels.
Alexander Codd is one of favorite young artists. Based out of Seattle (ACodd on IG) does amazing sports work and pop culture work. His level of color, light and detail that he can produce with stencil and spray paint is unmatched. This was the first piece I commissioned with him, titled “Soul Rebel” of one of my favorites, Bob Marley. This is proudly hanging in one of my clinic
Dude. This kid from Seattle is amazing. One of my favorite stencil artists. He gets insane detail with stencil and spray paint. I have about 10 pieces of his work as he works on commission. Here you have a moving piece of jazz trumpet legend, Miles Davis in grey-scale on canvas. Check him out on IG.
