This is an interesting one… LeBron James, second year card, parallel numbered #/100. It’s not one of his most sought after cards, but the Upper Beck Black Diamond brand is pretty cool, just not classic or highly desired. Most early parallels numbered to 100 or less can get quite pricey for big stars, but these still haven’t hit the want list of many collectors. I’m willing to trade this one if I can find something I want more, mainly rookie autographed cards, or game used autographed patch cards.
Back in the day, I was at the national. Maybe 2006-2007? I wanted a LeBron auto. I should have bought a rookie autograph but his 2nd year autographs were so much more affordable. I can’t remember what I paid for this, I think around $150. It’s a nice on-card clean auto and I really liked the Upper Deck Black and Black Diamond cards. It’s on a foil-like stock and the autograph is crisp and clear, albeit on a dark background. I sent this in for dual grading as the card looks like a 9-10 and was hoping for a dual 10/10 but they only graded the auto. Oh well, it’s a PC Card, so not complaining.
