Adding to my litany of Counting Crows autographed items, here is one of their concert posters, signed by Adam Duritz and the rest of the band. In the past, VIP tickets have come with autographed concert, posters, CD, albums, or sheet music. Such a cool way to engage with their fans!
Most of the autographs I’ve posted, and most of my autographs in general, are all from sports figures and some historical figures. But does anyone on here collect musician autographs? Counting Crows have been my favorite band since college in 1993 and I’ve had a good fortune that they tour every summer. I have multiple autograph CDs, concert posters, sheet music and I’ve seen them over 30 times in concert. I’ll be seeing them again this July 20 in Clearwater, Florida, and looking forward to it every time!
Got to collab on this cool concert poster with artist, Mike Bell. Used his amazing Frankenstein painting and turned it into a concert poster for the show. We got the band to sign the poster for us as well!
A couple great shows I was at. I loved this poster for the show in Atlantic City. It was awesome to incorporate Lucy the Elephant into the artwork. Not many people probably realized, Lucy is a landmark in south Jersey. It at one time was a hotel in the shape of an elephant. It is a museum now right on the beach in Margate. Pretty awesome with a lot of history if you ever get the chance to see. I bought the poster. Also bumped into Trey and Page and they were nice enough to sign the poster for me. Talked to them about the artwork on the poster for a few minutes. They were both so cool and down to earth. I’ve been a fan for a long time and to finally meet them was amazing.
