Man,I remember buying these very premium cards at the time, many years ago. They look great with the amount of foiling, color, and serial numbers on the back. I never quite understood the number and patterns just that lower numbers were better. These had intense chipping around the boarders, which made them hard to Gem. In fact, the chipping was so bad coming out of the packs that I stopped collecting them for a long time. More recently as many Jordan and Kobe grails are out of reach. I started looking for other cards that I really liked aesthetically. The foiling on the front the diecut insert gold and the individual numbering still popped out to me. These cab be had a very reasonable rate. Finding one with no chipping in this condition is very rare and commands are premium. But the photography, the colors the foil in the embossing really make these standup.
