People that collect football cards typically stick to the biggest names and usually QBs. I think, history books wil get this right even though collectors might not - but Kurt Warner is overlooked and undervalued. Which is okay by me. It allows me to pick up amazing cards of his at reasonable prices in comparison. His story is equally amazing. From the Iowa Barnstormers in the Arena Football League to backup for the Rams to starting QB to multiple MVPs and 3 Super Bowls. Warner does not have a ton of game-used jersey patch cards. This awesome #3/5 game used patch auto from Flawless is great a wish there was more red/color the patch windows, but the dual patches with an on-card auto? I’ll take it.
This one is in my top 50-100 cards for sure. Love Flawless Game-Used patch autos. Especially when they are nameplate patch pieces of all-time greats. Bonus that it’s a ruby color match. I thought this had a great chance as a PSA 10. Literally can’t find any issues with it - but PSA is super tough on thicker cards. It’s for the PC anyways, so just happy to have it.
Flawless has the best cleanest looking cards. They’re always consistent and beautifully put together an executive. The extra large patch window in this instance captures a “R” from Robinson or a letter from the “R” in the letter spurs. The patch sticks out and it looks a little dirty even. Numbered out of/25 is one of the best of Robinson cards when I was younger, I found him a very intimate force in the middle.
