Man, I know the later Precious Metals are so much more desirable and better looking - but watch out for these. They are sneaky-rare and still look amazing. Glad to have this AI rookie - one of the few pickups I made at the National last year.

This 2000 Fleer MetalTom Brady rookie, emerald parallel, is somehow not in the very top tier of Brady rookies for some reason. It’s odd, as the Fleer metal lineage, and the parallels, are usually highly sought after. Especially for a rookie card that depicts Brady in his NFL Patriots uniform. These emerald parallels are exquisitely difficult to find, especially in good condition, I bought this many years ago raw and really thought I had a chance had a PSA 9 with the outside chance of a 10. A little disappointed in the 8, but it still presents beautifully in-hand. Not for sale. Not for trade. I don’t have many Tom Brady cards and this is one I’m gonna hold onto….unless I can upgrade the condition downstream.

These are hard to grade but still pretty common - I think about 800 in the PSA 10 pop report. But for a condition sensitive Kobe rookie, the metal, colors, and texture are very, very cool. I’ll likely end up trading this one day to consolidate to a bigger card. But I’ve had it for years and still really enjoy holding it and looking at it from time to time!
