Latest pickup.  Negro league star and HOFer “Cool Papa” Bell.  Reportedly the fastest player to ever grace a baseball diamond.  It a slightly sloppy custom cut, but already graded and encapsulated for less than $75.  Given the cost of modern cards, give me historic pieces of history like this every day of the week! The second Cool Papa I’ve picked up in the last two weeks. This one popped up after I bought the last one, but couldn’t beat that price!

These cut autos were well-executed and look high-end and very clean. Not worried about the grade at all - doesn’t really matter. Clean. Simple. classy. Professional. Polished. Just like Ted Williams

This is one of my favorite cut autograph cards. It’s almost perfectly executed, and upper deck the cut autographs well. My only complaint is that they chopped off a teeny bit of the signature, but otherwise this is a stunning example of a nice cut auto. I love the fact that this is hand numbered to seven, Mantle’s jersey number. It would only be better if it was number seven out of seven.
