I’ve been working really hard over months to try to dial in my card photographs more. I wanted something that kept the details while also highlighting the parallels and other things that make the card unique. Important for me was to have a setup that let me move through cards quickly since I photograph a lot in a session.

I would love any feedback or to hear about how others have their setup dialed in?

I have my 1954 Topps Doubleheaders Hank Aaron Auto for sale on eBay as BIN... gotten a little bit of interest, but nothing substantial. It's POP 1, one higher without qualifiers, total PSA/DNA Pop of only 7, so we're talking significantly rarer than an auto'd Aaron rookie card (total PSA/DNA Pop 388).

Any advice for how to move forward with this one? Should I see about consignment with Heritage or REA?

Set a 7-day auction on eBay with a reasonable minimum bid?

Consign with a bigger eBay consignor like GMC or Probstein?

Take it to one of the shops around ATL on my next trip to a Braves game?

Sometimes the answer is so obvious you feel stupid asking but I think it’s necessary to ask. I’ve read online that scanning cards are better for potential buyers to look at vs taking photos of them upright.

I scan the cards in the Penny Sleeve and Top Loader. The card is in great condition but the image shows lots of scratches because of the top loader. I use a flat bed scanner, should I be scanning the cards raw or only in the penny sleeve? Thanks everyone!
