The 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles were captivated by the young gymnast from the USA. Mary Lou Retton won Olympic gold and won over the hearts and minds of people everywhere. I love this in person autograph along with the Olympic gold inscription. I like historic and Olympic cards in general so that fits my collection well.
The dream team 2. Not quite the REAL dream team, signed by Shaquille O’Neal - 1996 Olympics gold medal game ticket. Played in Atlanta, Georgia. I was at this Olympics and did get to see them play (but I wasn’t at this gold medal game).
The best basketball team ever assembled…this is the Gold Medal game from the 1992 Olympic “Dream Team”. These are on thin paper and they are hard to shake loose (and very expensive when you can find them). This is probably my best ticket (with the 1912 Olympic Jim Thorpe debut as a close second). Until I can find a Ruth Called Shot or an Einstein lecture ticket or something else cool and unique, this will firmly stay in my top ticket spot in my PC. I need to get it slabbed just to protect it!
