Guys… This has been a journey. This was a very hard ticket to track down and verify! Of all has been fascinated by wilt Chamberlain’s time with the Harlem Wil trotters in the late 50s. This ticket represents one of his first appearances with The Harlem Globetrotters when he played with them in Australia. What a cool piece of basketball lore which predates his NBA debut.

Guys… This is a really big one for me. Wilt Chamberlain’s first game with the Harlem Globetrotters took place in Italy..but this ticket, his debut in the United States, is still often considered his actual debut ticket. I’ll continue to hunt for one from Italy, but I’m not sure if any exist. For now, this will be one of the highlights of my Globetrotters, and early Wilt Chamberlain, collection. I’ve attached a small newspaper article disgusting this game.
