Action Toys’ Kyatto Ninden Teyandee / Samurai Pizza Cats prototypes were recently spotted on display again at ACGHK 2026, offering a welcome sign that the long-silent project has not disappeared. 😍
The lineup includes:
Yattaro
Pururun
Sukashii
Karamaru
Otama
Omitsu
Tokugawa Usako
One notable absence from last year’s display is Ko’on no Kami. No evidence, either way, whether this was an intentional omission.
One especially interesting detail is that the new display cards differ from those shown with the prototypes last year.
The previous signage explicitly indicated that approval was pending. That wording is no longer present on the ACGHK 2026 cards.
The figures are still marked 監修中, meaning they remain under supervision or review, so this should not be taken as confirmation that production has been approved. Action Toys has also not announced pricing, preorders, or a release date.
Still, the updated signage and the prototypes’ return to public display are encouraging. At the very least, the project appears to remain active rather than having been quietly abandoned.
The dream is not dead yet. 🤍❤💙

Big news, Pizza Cats fans!
Discotek Media has stepped out of the shadows of a very clever cover-up and officially announced that Samurai Pizza Cats is coming to Blu-ray later this year!
Here’s what we know so far:
✨ Brand new HD remaster created from newly scanned original film elements
📺 All 52 English dubbed episodes
💬 Closed captions included
🇯🇵 A separate Blu-ray release for the original Japanese version is also planned for a later date.
This is shaping up to be the definitive home video release of the English series, with a completely new restoration rather than a simple upscale.
And… well… 😅
It looks like Shout! Studios may have unintentionally bamboozled the fandom with their recent convention banner. Many of us assumed they were behind the upcoming Blu-ray, but Discotek has now stepped in with the official announcement, complete with a cheeky comment of their own.
Whatever was happening behind the scenes, one thing is certain:
Samurai Pizza Cats is officially getting the Blu-ray treatment we’ve been waiting for since Japan got their own box set. 🤍❤💙
Between the new manga, the upcoming video game, BellFine’s model kit, Yolopark’s expanding AMK PRO lineup, and now a brand new Blu-ray restoration…
2026 is rapidly becoming one of the greatest years in Samurai Pizza Cats history.
We don’t have specifics - final box artwork, pricing, or specific release dates… but with five months left in the year, hand-in-hand with a planned 2026 release, I’m sure we’ll have those details, soon.
Stay tuned! 💚
BellFine has announced that they’ll be exhibiting painted display samples of their Yattaro (Speedy Cerviche) & Toritsukun (Goonie Bird) plastic model kit at Wonder Festival Summer 2026, taking place on July 26 at Makuhari Messe.
While the kit has been exhibited previously, this will likely be its final appearance as a prototype before its expected retail release, later in August.
The display will feature a painted sample of the completed kit at the AmiAmi Hobby Camp × BellFine booth (8-02-01), giving attendees another opportunity to see the finished model up close before it reaches collectors.
With Wonder Festival just days away, I’m looking forward to seeing fresh photos from the show floor. It’ll be interesting to see if BellFine has made any final refinements before the kit officially launches next month.
Between BellFine, YoloPark, Wave, and the growing list of officially licensed products announced this year, 2026 continues to be one of the most exciting years Samurai Pizza Cats fans have seen in decades.
I’ll definitely be watching for more photos once Wonder Festival opens! 🤍💙❤
The wait is over! Following the recent silhouette teaser, YoloPark has officially unveiled the first prototype images of Polly Esther (Pururun) and Guido Anchovy (Sukashii) from their upcoming Samurai Pizza Cats AMK PRO line!
I also love that this reveal confirms the silhouettes really were based on the official 30th anniversary artwork. It feels like YoloPark is treating the whole trio as a cohesive set rather than making Speedy and then deciding whether the others are worth doing. That’s a very encouraging sign for the line’s future.
From these early grey prototypes, a few things immediately stand out:
✨ Polly Esther
• Features a graceful walking pose full of personality.
• Includes her signature sword (I hope they include her flute, too)!
• Beautifully captures her confident, cheerful expression.
✨ Guido Anchovy
• Dynamic action pose with parasol in hand.
• Faithful armor sculpt with a stance that perfectly suits his character.
• Looks ready to spring into action.
Both will likely come packaged with their hero & civilian outfits, just like Speedy did!
One thing I especially appreciate is that these aren’t simple reskins of Speedy. Each member of the Pizza Cats has their own unique pose, expression, and sculpt, giving the trio distinct personalities right from the prototype stage.
These are still unpainted prototypes, but if the final production figures stay this faithful, YoloPark is shaping up to deliver something really special.
2026 just keeps getting better for Samurai Pizza Cats fans:
📚 Manga
📀 Blu-ray
🧸 Plushies
⚙ Model kits
Even in prototype form, the attention to character-specific details is incredibly promising. If the final painted figures stay this faithful, YoloPark may be on track to create one of the most charming Samurai Pizza Cats figure lines we’ve seen.
No release date or pricing has been announced just yet, but with Speedy already available and these two now revealed, it’s exciting to see the entire Pizza Cats team steadily coming together.
Who’s your favourite, so far? ❤💙💗

YoloPark has unveiled its lineup for Hong Kong Anime Games Festival 2026, and it looks like Samurai Pizza Cats will once again be among the featured licenses!
While nothing has been officially confirmed just yet, the teaser image includes two familiar silhouettes under the Samurai Pizza Cats banner that strongly resemble Sukashii (Guido Anchovy) and Pururun (Polly Esther). More specifically, the 30th anniversary official artwork.
If these are indeed who they appear to be, they’ll join Yattaro (Speedy Cerviche) in YoloPark’s growing Samurai Pizza Cats lineup.
The reveal is expected during Hong Kong Anime Games Festival, taking place July 24-28, so we may not have to wait much longer before seeing the full prototypes.
Nothing is confirmed until YoloPark officially unveils them, but it’s certainly an exciting tease for Pizza Cats fans!
I’ll be keeping an eye on the event and will share any official reveals as soon as they’re announced. ❤💙
It’s amazing seeing just how much momentum the franchise has right now. Between the manga, plushies, the upcoming game, the teased Shout! Studios release, and now what appears to be more YoloPark figures, 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting years Samurai Pizza Cats has seen in decades. 💚
