Now, truth be told, I don’t really believe in cracking and resubmitting many slabs. However, this was is a BGS 8.5 slab. Outside of the centering, it looks amazing. I had a friend at a local card shop crack and submit this to PSA. I thought it was an easy 8 with an outside chance at a PSA 9. So, a little disappointed that it got a PSA 7. Eventually, I wanna pick this up and a higher grade or a lower grade that has been autographed. I think in NBA history, Moses Malone is not remembered as a top 10 or top 20 player… But he absolutely was. I still think collectors have the opportunity to pick up some of his in person autographs or high grade vintage.

Yes, the set is known for the Larry Bird Magic Johnson rookie card. But there are a ton of very cool, Great Hall of Famer‘s in the set as well. I was on the hunt for some high grade Moses Malone cards and was able to pick this one up in mint condition for about $100. It’s not the biggest card, I would much rather have this card already slabbed in a gem mint grade then by a box of crappy modern Donruss or Panini cards. Super cool, super nostalgic, and cool to have as part of my collection.

The artistry. The legends. I wouldn’t mind them bringing it back.

Moses had a long distinguished career with Portland totaling 0 minutes. Still a great card!

Here’s a cool one that I recently scooped up. Yes, non-licensed off brand (President’s Choice). But with there super unique 1/1 stuff, I’m finding that I don’t really care too much. This is a full game-used jersey tag of one of the best players the league has ever seen. Moses Malone was an absolute unit on the court. Love rare, 1/1 tags, logos, team logos, etc. There just aren't very many items of this out there, regardless of brand.
