I finally pulled the trigger on this beauty. I've always loved the early 90s version of these cards. They remind me of my childhood and I always kick myself for not saving my old SI Kids cards. I actually recently subscribed to the mag again for collecting purposes.

There are only 5 in the world and Tiger Woods is the obviously the GOAT of GOATs. Saw this up on Goldins auction tonight and went after it. Paid less than the last few comps so I am a happy boy.

Followed up my SI #1 with MJs first appearance on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Shown with Sam Perkins in 1983, they were the #1 team in the country at UNC.

Loving this game! Grabbed a high grade CGC 8.0, only 25 graded higher.

A bit of education here but maybe @sportsmagcollector can help out here. This obviously has the subscription sticker on it. I believe the Newsstand version trades at a premium but curious how the market values these vs their counterparts.

Sticking with the theme of diversifying my collection, I picked up this game used ball from SB LI. This is obviously an important game given the epic comeback by Brady and meltdown by the Falcons.

I bought this directly from NFL auctions. I spent a lot of time combing through Getty images to photo match. I wasn't able to find a direct hit but learned that this ball was actually used on Special Teams.

I've been trying to hunt down Brady to get it signed. I saw him a few weeks ago at the Fanatics x Sotheby's event but didnt bring the ball.
