For all their challenges, Panini did a great job with some cards. Give credit when credit is due, this 2013 Panini innovations Stat Line card of Kevin Durant has a nice, chunky game used patch of part of the Thunder logo. The beautiful thing about these patches were that they were dated to very specific game and included the statistics from that game. This ties the patch of the jersey to a specific moment in time. Topps is starting to do this a little bit more as they have more collectibility and significance in the hobby.
Putting this idea out there since my kickstarter attempt was rejected and because I don't have the financial backing to do this on my own…if you know anybody or who I should contact, I would greatly appreciate it!🙏🏼 I did tag Topps, Panini, and Upper Deck in Social Media posts but did not hear anything 🤷🏻♂️
