this is my favorite Jaylen Brown card. I’ve never been able to shake loose, or afford, a JB logo man. In fact, a few years ago, I tried to buy this directly from another collector, but we could not agree on a price. Eventually, he ended up listing it for auction on eBay and I was able to purchase it for about 50% of what I offered him directly. This is his Gold Standard superfractor one-of-one Adidas brand patch with an on-card autograph. Brown is having a stellar All-Star level season carrying the Celtics while Jayson Tatum is out. His explosiveness, defensive, effort, and work ethic are unparalleled.

The Celtics have a bit of a gap year this year with Jayson Tatum being out with Achilles tear. Of course, they also lost Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porziņģis, Luke Kornet, Al Horford, and others… But Jaylen Brown is still there. The ticket represents his NBA debut on an upstart Celtics team that defied odds and got to the Eastern conference finals. I love the fact that Isaiah Thomas is on the front of this ticket as his heroics were the heart and soul of that Boston team. I still think he can play if given a chance. He was electric that year and finished fourth in MVP voting. Love professional debut tickets!

Jaylen Brown signed cards for his first couple years in the NBA, but does not currently under contract to sign for Panini, Topps, Fanatics, or any other company. Although Jayson Tatum is a better pure offensive player, Jalen Brown is still my favorite Celtic player on their roster. This is a beautiful example of his rookie Gold Standard triple patch on-card autograph. The multiple, chunky patches really makes this pop in-hand. Without Tatum in the lineup, Jaylen really has a chance to shine and I think he’ll be an all-NBA player next year.
