The Olympic Games were held in Los Angeles in 1984. This ticket represents admission to the opening ceremony is that year. The Olympics were held in Atlanta in 1996 and then Los Angeles will host the next summer games as well. If you’ve never been, going to the Olympics is really awesome. People are in a good mood, the game is entertaining, and the atmosphere is electric. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to go… But I’m sure as heck gonna try. Traffic is gonna be brutal!

I have a good mate of mine coming in to Los Angeles from the East Coast for a few days, he is a hobby guy as well & we figure one day this week we might check out a couple shops. I live in Pasadena, & while I'm aware of a few of the major shops around, I was wondering if any locals may have some recommendations - whether it be endorsements for any of the major shops, or some hidden gems I may not be aware of, plug away! Proximity to Pasadena is a plus, but will take any and all recommendations, as I'll certainly use them myself in the future!
