This is the first and only Michael Vick card I have in my collection. Vick was absolutely electric to watch on the field. He was like the Allen Iverson of football matching speed and quickness out of the backfield while still maintaining a strong, accurate arm. Unfortunately, his career was derailed with some terrible off the field decisions. However, I do really enjoy collecting the essential credentials parallels from all years. The 2004 credentials are not acetate-based like some of the more popular years, but the refractor-like holofoil really makes these pop. And I was able to pick this up at a very reasonable price.
My first trade with a buddy at work! He started collecting with his kids a few months ago, and had recently pulled these. I love the “State of the Art” insert!
Entering 2024, Lambeau Field has hosted 25 playoff games and the Packers have emerged victorious 18 times. The team was no match for Vick on January 4, 2003, however, as the speedy star powered Atlanta to A 27–7 win to become the youngest starting quarterback to win a road postseason game in Green Bay (22 years, 192 days).
