The design of these Kevin Garnett game used nameplate letters from 2017 President's Choice look better than most licensed products. Getting these in the mail today definitely helps ease the pain of not making it to Chicago this weekend.
George Brett was one of my favorite players in my youth. I love unique items like this. Yes, the piece of the bat barrel could be larger to capture his entire name. But these cards don’t come around too often, and when they do, they’re pretty expensive. So I like the overpaid for this one, but I really like that barrel nameplate cards like this. Especially of Hall of Fames!
I’ve said it here before and I’ll say it again, I don’t care about licensed vs unlicensed cards when they are unique pieces (alternatively, I typically won’t buy unlicensed crap, just the unique patches and game used logos, tags, nameplates). I got this Marvin Harrison (top 5 WRs all-time) for about $50. Love it.
