Last year I posted about an April 2008 game between the Orioles and White Sox that got suspended due to weather and finished in Baltimore in August. That timeline created some bizarre statistical anomalies, such as the fact that Ken Griffey Jr is credited as playing for both the Reds and White Sox on 4/28/08 because he was acquired by Chicago between the start and completion of the game.
My post from last year showed ticket stubs I acquired from the 4/28 Reds game and an August game that allowed Orioles fans to see the finish of the game. I recently completed the trifecta by nabbing a Chicago ticket from the start of the game on 4/28.
I recognize that nobody cares about this stuff except nerds like me (us?), but for less than $20 I have a collectible conversation piece of a quirky moment in baseball history.
