1969 was Ryan’s second year but his first solo card. And one of my favorite looking vintage sets. Beautiful classic autograph by Ryan, one of my favorite players of my childhood. He was absolutely dominant. A great example that has been authenticated by PSA DNA.

The condition of the card aside, the 1969 Topps set is iconic. Reggie Jackson was one of the best players of his generation and it has a near perfect autograph. In a day and age where the quality of autographs, and autographs on stickers, is going down, his autograph is one of my top 10 favorites. I’m happy to have low grade car that is autographed.

Yeah, yeah…I know it has an OC modifier. But 1969 Topps might be one of my favorite vintage sets. It just works for me. The condition of this card, other than being off center, is really, really nice. And any nice vintage card of Hank Aaron is just plain cool.

Yes, 1968 was his rookie card. I still don’t have one of those. But the 1969 (a better looking set design IMHO) and his first solo Topps card. The card condition is rough but the signature is clean and bold. Love the card and it will stay in my thin baseball PC.

Love a good vintage on-card auto. Especially when it’s from one of my favorite sets (1969 Topps) and it’s of one of the best power hitters of all-time!
