Sure, I would’ve liked higher grade. But I’m really not complaining. The execution of this card by Panini is, in fact, flawless!. Magic Johnson, in color over faded white background, with gold foil is pure… Well… Magic! Nice negative white space for clean, bold, bright signature. And a nice patch window, which contains a game used part of his jersey nameplate. One of the cleanest looking Magic cards I have.

We all know that Magic Johnson is a prolific signer. He has a ton of certified autographs out there, so they are not rare. However, every once in a while, the card company really gets the aesthetic of a card right. The yellow and purple really pop on the white card stock and the autograph and dark blue sharpie is clean, clear and bold. Yes, I wish this had a chunky patch in the little shield shaped window, but it’s really a beautiful card from a high-end brand and didn’t break the bank.

Magic Johnson is a prolific signer. Still, these impeccable cards really pop. They have a canvas like surface and the colors look great on the milky-white card stock with a watercolor background. This one is numbered out of 15 and has been graded a PSA 10 gem mint.
