With Panini losing the NFL license, what inserts or sets are you going to miss the most?

For me, it’s hands down the pop-art stuff — Bomb Squad, Heroes, Action All-Pros, Original Gridiron… all of those loud, creative designs just hit a different lane in the hobby. There’s something about that mix of comic-book energy and football photography that’s always drawn me in.

2024 Prestige Heroes Set

I’ve never been a big comic book fan, but I’ve always loved the look of them — that bold, colorful pop art style that just jumps off the page. These Prestige “Heroes” cards have that same vibe. The colors, the layout, the comic book flair… they just pop.

They remind me of those vintage Batman and Superman comics I’d see behind the counter at the card shop when I was a kid — the ones I’d stare at but never touch. Funny how a set of football cards can bring back that same kind of nostalgia.
