I’m still fascinated with players that are so athletic they can play multiple sports. I’m also fascinated by the history of players that are both player and coach. Players like Wilt, Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Pete Rose, and others have functioned both as managers with their team and also put themselves in the game as players on occasion. This is one card that highlights a unique piece of NBA history where Wilt Chamberlain was a player coach for a team that existed only briefly. I would love to get this in a PSA 10, or an autographed copy, but I’m pretty happy with the eye appeal of this one.

Not a lot of value here but still an awesome card!

Today, I got back from PSA my very first autographed card from when I was a Kid! Around 2002-2003 I sent this card to Curtis Martin in New York all the way from Montana in hopes he would sign it and send it back to me, and he did exactly that! I kept it in a penny sleeve and Toploader ever since I was around 10 years old! Back in February of 2025 I got back into the sports cards hobby! Once I found out how easy it was to have cards graded by PSA I went ahead and shipped it off! I am very pleased with a PSA 8 on this card considering I had it has a kid and was expecting a much lower grade than a 8. As for the Auto, I had it authenticated and graded. The marker used seemed to have blotched when drying so I understand the 6 grade on the auto! I’m glad it’s now encapsulated and safe forever. This card might not be worth much when it comes to market value, but when it comes to sentimental value it can never be replaced!

Posting before I sent it out in a trade. Rookie auto from SP retail. Never noticed it was an auto until I got back into cards in 21’. Always thought it was a facsimile.
