Decided to start purchasing some affordable rookie cards of the athletes I admired in my younger years. Here is the 1988 Topps Bo Jackson Super Rookie.

I’m still fascinated with players that are so athletic they can play multiple sports. I’m also fascinated by the history of players that are both player and coach. Players like Wilt, Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Pete Rose, and others have functioned both as managers with their team and also put themselves in the game as players on occasion. This is one card that highlights a unique piece of NBA history where Wilt Chamberlain was a player coach for a team that existed only briefly. I would love to get this in a PSA 10, or an autographed copy, but I’m pretty happy with the eye appeal of this one.
