If you’re like me you grew up on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I’m not sure the exact origin of this diecast sculpture but I think it the coolest rendition of Shredder I’ve ever seen. I crack a huge smile and am warmed by a wave of nostalgia every time I walk by this piece.

We got most of the rest of the TMNT crew from the 1989 and 1990 Playmates Toys line. Featuring Casey Jones, Usagi Yojimbo, Leatherhead, Ace Duck, Genghis Frog, Krang, Mondo Gecko, and others!

Check out our heroes in a half shell! It’s a complete set of the original TMNT action figures from Playmates in 1988. Featuring Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, Michaelangelo, April O’Neil, Bebop, Foot Soldier, Rocksteady, Shredder, and Splinter. All unopened and carded. And most of these are unpunched! Wow!

Happy Metaluna Monday! Here is my Mint on Card Metaluna Mutant Raphael from the 1994 Playmates Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line. I won this during a Nickelodeon sponsored contest at the New York Comic Con. While I find the Universal Monsters Turtles NECA is putting out to be beautiful I prefer the OGs. I assure you there are items in my collection without an exposed brain.

Adidas is bringing the ultimate nostalgia trip with the release of the TMNT Superstar Shelltoes, celebrating 40 years of our favorite pizza-loving ninja turtles! 🍕🥋

The shoes are packaged in plastic like an action figure you would find in the toy aisle. Included are two extra set of shoe laces, lace jewels commemorating each of the Turtle, and a re-print of the first-ever issue of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.

While they're only coming in the red stripe (sorry, Michelangelo fans!). If it were up to me I would of made all 4 color stripes variants to represent each Ninja Turtle. Then release them in a mystery package to build that element of surprise and excitement. Either way this crossover is a must-have for sneakerheads and TMNT enthusiasts alike.
