Walter Payton is on the short list of the best running backs ever to play the game. (Jim Brown, Barry Sander, and Emmitt Smith are on my short list). This was an in-person autograph that I have not yet sent in for authentication. I have a handful of autos that I need to send in and might try the new CGC/JSA authentication service. While licensing matters in most sports card arenas, every once in a while, it doesn’t. At least not for me. Especially when large patches, logos, numbers, of letters of all-time great players are featured. So I wish it was from NT, Flawless, or Immaculate? Sure. But for the price, cost and look - I’m good with it. Walter Payton game-used “H” from cHicago Bears playing days. I’d take this 100 times out of 100 over a non-associated patch. And it was had for less than a crappy sticker auto of an over produced random current RB.
