2025 Topps Holiday Reds & Tigers

One of my favorite parts of collecting has always been building team sets. Growing up, the Reds used to give away full team sets in a little team book, and that’s really what sparked the itch to keep completing every checklist.

When I jumped back into the hobby a year ago, that same set-building instinct came right back. I barely opened any Topps Holiday this year, but somehow ended up just three cards short of finishing both my Reds and Tigers team sets. Thankfully my cousin had a stack of each team — and every single card I needed was in there.

Perfect timing, perfect teams, and perfect sets for this time of year. 🎄🔥

Hey, I am looking to complete some common team sets for the Detroit Tigers and Lions. I would love to trade for them, but I am not sure how to do that here. Anyway, hopefully someone bites!

I posted the team set over on Blusky, and I wanted to share it here too! (You can assume that the signatures aren't worth much. Lou Merloni might've been the most successful player on the team and I'm pretty sure he didn't sign it. But I was 9 and it was my first ever professional baseball game, so it's got hella emotional value 😊)

The last card I needed to complete the Dodgers portion (11 cards) of the 1961 Nu-Card Baseball Scoops set. I love these for their classic newspaper design, complete with the date of the moment.

Just wrapped up my 2008 Upper Deck Masterpieces Cincinnati Reds team set this weekend! 🙌

These cards have such a timeless, painted look — almost like mini works of art. Been chipping away at this one for a while and finally landed the last piece to bring it all together.
